Connect your team
Invite officers, counsel, auditors, and IR with the right roles.
Your team works across at least four organizations: company employees, outside counsel, auditors, and sometimes IR or PR firms. Market Fortress has roles for each.
The roles
- Owner has every permission, including billing.
- Editor can edit any filing and submit to EDGAR but cannot manage billing.
- Reviewer can comment and redline but cannot edit or submit.
- Counsel is a magic-link external user with redline access scoped to specific filings.
- Auditor is a magic-link external user with read-only Vault and Financials access during quarter-close.
- IR can edit press releases and 8-K Item 7.01 furnishings only.
How to invite
Settings > Team > Invite. Enter the email and pick a role. Magic-link external roles (Counsel, Auditor) can be scoped to specific filings or the whole workspace.
What invitees see
Owners and editors see the full app. Counsel and auditors see a focused portal with only the filings or registers they have access to, plus a clean comment / redline UI. They never see your Settings, billing, or unrelated drafts.
Two-factor
Owners and editors are required to enable 2FA before they can submit to EDGAR. Counsel and auditors can opt in. See "Setting up two-factor authentication" for the walkthrough.
