File a 10-Q
How the 10-Q wizard pulls from Financials, Vault, and prior 10-Q.
The 10-Q is your quarterly report. The wizard runs in 30 to 90 minutes when the Vault and Financials are clean.
Pre-flight checklist
The wizard refuses to start until:
- Trial balance for the quarter is loaded.
- Officers and directors are current.
- Disclosure controls certification is signed by the CEO and CFO.
- Auditor review for any restated period is on file.
The wizard structure
Part I (Financial Information): pulled from Financials. You confirm and edit. Part II (Other Information): pulled from Vault. New legal proceedings, risk factor changes, equity issuances, defaults.
MD&A drafting
Item 2 (MD&A) supports AI Assist. Click the sparkle icon, describe the quarter in plain English, and the assistant drafts a first pass. You always edit. See "Drafting MD&A with AI Assist" for the longer guide.
Cover page (Wave 12 update)
The cover page (common shares outstanding, shell company flag, large accelerated / accelerated / non-accelerated, smaller reporting status) is auto-populated from issuer settings. Confirm and continue.
Comparison to prior 10-Q
The right-hand rail shows a section-by-section comparison to your last 10-Q. Items in green are unchanged; amber means meaningful change; red means a restatement.
EDGAR submission
Same as 8-K: HTML packet, preview, submit.
