AI Assist on free-text fields

How AI Assist drafts disclosures and what it will not touch.

Updated 2026-04-30aidraftingassist

AI Assist drafts free-text disclosure language. It is opinionated about institutional tone and conservative about facts.

Where it appears

Any free-text field with the gold sparkle icon: 8-K Item descriptions, 10-K Item 1 (Business), Item 1A (Risk Factors), MD&A, Reg A use of proceeds, S-1 narratives, press release boilerplate.

How it works

You give it a one-sentence prompt. It returns three variants at different lengths (short, standard, detailed). It pulls from the Vault for facts. It cites the source for every factual claim it makes.

What it will not do

  • Make up financial numbers.
  • Editorialize about the issuer's prospects.
  • Use marketing language ("revolutionary", "industry-leading", "world-class").
  • Use em dashes (institutional style guide).

What you do

Pick a variant, edit freely, accept. Every AI-assisted draft is logged in the audit trail with the prompt, the variants, and the final accepted text.

Counsel review

If you have outside counsel as a reviewer on the filing, they see every AI-generated paragraph flagged with a small AI icon. They can accept, edit, or reject just like any human draft.
